  2. Develop a risk management plan by defining risk appetite, tolerance thresholds, roles, responsibilities, and escalation mechanisms for projects and programs.

  3. Identify project and enterprise risks systematically using structured techniques to capture individual, interdependent, cumulative, and emerging risks across internal and external environments.

  4. Perform qualitative risk analysis by assessing probability, impact, urgency, and detectability to prioritize risks using risk matrices, heat maps, and trend analysis.

  5. Apply quantitative and semi-quantitative risk analysis techniques to evaluate overall risk exposure and understand the cumulative impact of multiple risks on project objectives.

  6. Design and implement appropriate risk response strategies, including avoidance, mitigation, transfer, acceptance, and exploitation, to manage both threats and opportunities.

  7. Integrate opportunity management into risk planning by identifying positive risks and converting uncertainty into value-creating outcomes.

  8. Establish risk monitoring and control mechanisms using key risk indicators (KRIs), thresholds, and triggers to track risk trends and response effectiveness.

  9. Create and interpret risk dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making, escalation, and risk-informed governance.

  10. Embed risk management into project and program execution by continuously reviewing, updating, and communicating risk information throughout the lifecycle.
